While traveling though a small town in Arizona, Kimble (David Janssen) is arrested by the brutal and sadistic Sheriff Joe Bob Sims, a man with high political ambitions. When Kimble witnesses Sims murder another prisoner, he becomes aware that his own life is in danger.
