Episode 49 -- first aired February 24, 1972George Carlin and Flip do their fake news segment again, which goes off into surreal territory. George also briefly gets to do his famous character Al Sleet -- The Hippy Dippy Weatherman, which he created years earlier on The Ed Sullivan Show.



Joyce Warner ( who was Miss Black America that year ) is also among the main guest stars, and I didn't believe she was that good-looking. (The two runners-ups were beautiful...if you can ignore that one of them had a giant afro!)



And football star Joe Nameth reminds us how bad an actor he really was, as he walks through his lines of dialog (because the scrimmage wasn't available...)
