K so i cant give this one an up or down vote, because the actual update patch files work. But the crack did not. What i did was download this update,copy everything to my dir, then i had to download update 11

No. It will replace the files.

replace the steam_api.dll & better yet include replacing the games exe as well. either from the previous one(prior to this update) or DL from somewhere else.
