The Dunes - Socializing with Life

A self proclaimed "mainstream experimental" outfit, The Dunes sings of

"human beings and human themes". Their honest songwriting approach,

soaring anthem like choruses and their belief that "the song is king" has

served them well in winning over audiences wherever they play and

whenever they are heard.



The Dunes were formed in Canada in early 2003 by singer, songwriter

and front-man, Kevin Pullen. Initially Pullen driven by a desire to make

meaningful melodic, engaging, raucous, intelligent, music which flowed

naturally his everyday stream of consciousness, a desire that remains at

the heart of the bands' philosophy. Pullen's influences are such bands as

Radiohead, Travis, The Beatles, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Flaming

Lips, Neil Young and so on. "It's a long list", explains, Pullen.
