Trama
Un film che mescola live action, animazione e fantascienza e che attraverso l’apparente mito dell’eterna giovinezza racconta un mondo che si sta trasformando in uno psichedelico incubo orwelliano. Robin Wright - nel ruolo di sé stessa - riceve da un grande Studio hollywoodiano un’offerta sconvolgente a cui non può sottrarsi: vendere la propria identità cinematografica. L’immagine di Robin sta per essere digitalizzata e attraverso la scansione del corpo e delle emozioni, verrà creato un campione che renderà eterna l’attrice. Vent’anni dopo, Robin viene catapultata in un mondo animato; tutti i divi che come lei sono fatti scansionare, si riuniscono al Congresso di Futurologia dove viene presentata la formula chimica che dà la possibilità di assumere molteplici identità. Tra colpi di scena, scontri e catastrofi, vi sarà spazio anche per una storia d’amore.
