Here's the story, as I understand it: This was a VHS tape, which someone ripped to MPEG2 and burned to a DVD as a single track containing all the videos. The DVD was saved as an ISO in the torrent listed above. I ripped the torrent to AVI, and then split it into individual files, which suits my tastes.



So... The quality is very good for a VHS tape, but leaves something to be desired for a DVD and the resultant XviD rip, which is why I used fairly low bit-rate options in the coding.
