Most Helpful Customer Reviews Great Teaching Tool By Carico67 on June 8, 2014 Making a 1/2 year course for high school students and this book is a great match to work with/from in part. The biomes area combined with all of the hereditary breakdowns throughout the book show the evolution and environment of each species marvelously. It's not a picture book designed to "WOW" children, but has enough to pique their interest. There a great scene pictures that are letter coded to show an active biome and its inhabitants, and how those inhabitants became the fossils we now find and learn from today. Great Information! By Aaron Barlow on December 5, 2014 This encyclopedia has tons of illustrations of animals and I would say its more for young adults to adult reading and great for studying geology, paleontology and zoology. This is an excellent book to have in your library. Sharing Widget |
