 This classic album, first released in 1993, has all the songs published by a wonderful male choral group, The Cascades. The Cascades became most well known for their "one-hit wonder" song - "Rhythm of the Rain" which came out in 1964. The Cascades began their career in the San Diego pub scene after the gruop completed their tour of duty in the U.S. Navy. I think they were all shipmates in the area at the time. The lead vocalist had the voice of a true pop music star, but unfortunately, their songs lacked that certain "something" .... or perhaps it was just that they entered the music industry right at that moment when it was about to be hit by the British Invasion, and all the American vocal groups were totally eclipsed by the "Fab Four".
