This is the first Indian (bollywood) disaster movie with an ensemble cast and terrific performance by all of them. Though the special effects used in this film fulfill the requirement but please don't compare them with Hollywood blockbusters like Titanic or The Day After Tomorrow. What I feel like that it is really the first and the last film of its genre in bollywood. Because of its critical and commercial failure at the time of its initial release (Indian audiences who were used to watching singing and dancing around the tree could not digest such serious stuff) , no other bollywood director or producer ever dared to make such a movie after it. But it is surely a must watch film even for Hollywood lovers. The only thing that I don't like is unwanted song sequences just like typical bollywood flicks. These is the reason which prevents it from perfect 10. Otherwise it is definitely 8/10.
