Jonathan Ross returns to host the annual ceremony, now in its 20th

year, as the cream of the crop gathers to honour the best comedy

actors, actresses, entertainment personalities and newcomers,

along with the pick of the year's TV and film comedies. Keeping

their fingers crossed for recognition will be stars including Alan

Carr, Harry Hill, Michael McIntyre, Ruth Jones, Simon Bird and

Claire Skinner, plus the casts of such programmes as The IT Crowd

and The Kevin Bishop Show. Another of this year's front-runners is

Psychoville, written by and starring The League of Gentlemen's

Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, which is nominated for Best

New British Television Comedy and Best Television Comedy Drama. Big up all scene massive!
