La 2° Stagione,ha debuttato l'8 ottobre 2007.(Due dei suoi 15 episodi, "The Hunger Strike" e "The Uncle Ruckus Reality," non sono stati mai trasmessi in america,ma sono stati inseriti nella versione home DVD).La 3° Stagione è stata trasmessa la prima volta il 2 maggio 2010,e si è conclusa il 15 agosto 2010.Il 9 maggio 2011,in un'intervista con John Witherspoon ha affermava che come preannunciato nell'ultimo episodio della 3° Stagione,è nei suoi progetti realizzare anche una 4° Stagione.





The Boondocks is an American animated series created by Aaron McGruder.The Boondocks takes place in the same place and time frame as its comic counterpart.The show begins with the Freeman family having moved from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois to the fictional,peaceful and mostly white suburb of Woodcrest.The perspective offered by this mixture of cultures,lifestyles, and races provides for much of the comedy in this series.
The series premiered on November 6,2005.The 15-episode Season 1 ended on March 19,2006.Season 2 premiered on October 8,2007.(Two of its 15 episodes,"The Hunger Strike" and "The Uncle Ruckus Reality Show," were not aired,but they appeared on the DVD release).Season 3 began airing on May 2,2010 and concluded on August 15,2010.On May 9,2011,an interview with John Witherspoon was uploaded to YouTube,in which he stated that a 20-episode Season 4 will be made.

Il cosiddetto "Negro Moment" avviene quando due persone di colore si scontrano per un qualunque motivo e di solito finisce con l'autodistruzione dei due. Un modo efficace per scatenarne uno volontariamente è lanciando una sedia in mezzo ad una folla di gente di colore e questa, senza nessun altro motivo apparente, si scatena in una rissa violentissima.
