What is the source for this? The 2009 mono & stereo remastered CDs? The vinyl sets?

Apple B0019709-02 (remastered mono & stereo CD), released January 21, 2014 http://www.aboutthebeatles.com/revolver-us Different master from the EMI version released on the US Albums Box Set.

Idk, Beo. The way I read the info in that link, this IS the version from the US Albums box. Note the US track listing and the release date is the same as the box set and individual US versions titles. It does say EMI reworked the tracks, but FOR the box, not "different from" the box.

yeah, after a re-read you could be right there unfortunately the apple code was all the information I could get about this rip. I'm fairly sure after some snooping its a different master from the box. I think to US box was mastered from the UK masters, not hard to change the track list, this from the US masters.... but don't quote me

Apple B0019709-02 is the selection number for Revolver released stand alone and in the US Albums box set January 21,2014. I don't think they used the UK masters for these because they wanted them to sound like the original US versions - less bass, a bit compressed and some tracks had a bit of reverb added for the US audience.

right ok... bugger I guess they just released this as a stand alone separate from the box, crafty so 'n so's.

Actually, they are the UK remasters and not the old Capital American masters. That is a shame since those old American masters were unique.
