The Amazing Spider-Man è la storia di Peter Parker, un liceale emarginato che è stato abbandonato da piccolo dai genitori e affidato allo zio Ben e alla zia May. The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker, a high school outcast who was abandoned by his parents as a child and entrusted to Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter tries to figure out who he is and how he became the person he is now. Peter tries his way with the girl that has a crush, Gwen Stacy, and together the two will face love, commitment and many secrets. When Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand the reason for the disappearance of their parents - and this leads him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, a former partner of his father. When, as Spider-Man, will enter into a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter chooses to use his powers and become a hero, although this will radically change his life.
