Jest rok 1597. Od 5 lat trwa wojna koreańsko-japońska, w której to szala zwycięstwa przechyliła się na
stronę najeźdźców z Japonii. Król ukrywa się w stolicy, a największy atut, czyli flota morska została
rozbita. Pozostało jedynie 12 statków pod dowództwem Admirała Yi Sun-sin. Ten zaś postanawia stoczyć
bitwę z przeważającymi siłami japońskimi(ok. 300 statków), pomimo strachu wśród żołnierzy oraz rozkazom
powrotu do stolicy.

The Admiral: Roaring Currents”był w zeszłym roku hitem w Korei Południowej. Obejrzało go prawie
18 milionów Koreańczyków, co sprawiło, że został liderem wszechczasów pod względem frekwencji kinowej.
Nic dziwnego, w końcu opowiada o jednym z największych militarnych sukcesów w historii. To najlepsza
