In the ingredients' lists, there are little boxes instead of numbers. Some have numbers, many don't. I've tried to find a pattern, whether it is the "1/2" which is missing, but no. This happens in all recipes. And in baking, you can't go guessing the amounts of baking powder or other ingredients!
With this problem, the book is practically unusable, except for the general recommendations at the beginning.
