Every song is a number one, but they all still try harder!

This is part 2 of a show that never happened. Someday it will connect the imaginary first part to the fabricated third part, the fictional fourth part and the made-up fifth part. With the issuance of this part two, certain urban legends have started circulating, the most popular of which insists this show WAS broadcast in the 70's! That is when the American government launched an investigation because no royalties had ever been paid.

In reality, this program came about due to some creative editing performed by Ken Martin (Program Director at WTOJ - Magic 103.1 in Carthage, New York), and this "Super-Countdown" he put together is first class all the way but, unbeknownst to the honorable Mr. Martin, the evil Bosh Kabibble (who has always hated the top 40 format because its popularity continuously thwarts his plans to rule the world through top 3 radio which was his idea) had anticipated something like this and his lackeys had been inserting subliminal "anti-top 40" messages into various AT40 segments since the very first show (don't worry, my assistant Amy nullifies them from my recordings before you get them so you won't be affected). These flunkies of his were actually AT40 staff who thought they had only been volunteers from the audience at a Hollywood hypnotism show in March of 1970. In fact they have been doing Kabibble's bidding for over four decades and now that all these subliminal segments had been put together, nothing and no one could stop him (or so he thought).

Meanwhile, a government agency (so secret that even its own members don't know anything about it) arrested Larry Morgan (because his is the only other voice in this show besides Casey's) & Mr. Martin. While Morgan & Martin sat in a prison cell hours away from execution, the courageous Casey knew he had to act. Having recently become aware of Kabibble's twisted plan, he convinced NASA officials to launch him into space, toward a rotating black hole. That way, he could travel back in time and stop his archenemy.

In May of 2014 NASA secretly launched Casey. While the media reported him missing, he was gone from our universe, having entered an interconnected parallel world in order to save top 40 radio as we know it. Also, as part of the launch agreement, NASA stored Casey's brain-waves in one of their top level computers. This is why they scrubbed the space shuttle program; NASA would never again be able to complete a launch sequence countdown without stopping to see what was at the top of the other charts!

Next, things went downhill, as . . . sorry, Mom is calling. I will have to tell you the rest later (if I haven't already said too much - I know they're listening).
