Terra Nova speelt zich af in het jaar 2149, wanneer al het leven op de
planeet Aarde wordt bedreigd met uitsterven. Wetenschappers hebben een
deur geopend waardoor mensen terug te reizen naar de prehistorie.
De Shannon familie (vader Jim, zijn vrouw Elisabeth en hun drie kinderen
Josh, Maddy en Zoe) treden de tiende bedevaart van kolonisten naar Terra
Nova, de eerste menselijke kolonie op de andere kant van de tijdelijke
doorgang. Echter, hebben ze niet het besef dat ze het in het midden van
een groep van carnivoren terecht komen.

Terra Nova is set in the year 2149, when all life on the
Planet Earth is threatened with extinction. Scientists have
door opened allowing people to travel back to prehistory.
The Shannon family (father Jim, his wife Elisabeth and their three children
Josh, Maddy and Zoe), steps from the tenth pilgrimage settlers to Terra
Nova, the first human colony on the other side of the temporary
passage. However, they did not realize that they are in the middle of
a group of carnivores stream.
