These are transfers of Melodiya LP's which I just received from a friend in Russia. The presently uploaded version of the 1952 excerpts from The Voevoda was originally downloaded from The European Archive (which no longer exists in its previous form or offers historical recordings). Finally having the original LP's in hand, however, has allowed - as much as possible - an improved transfer of these recordings to be made.

The wonderful recording of Iolanta was made for the 100th anniversary of Tchaikovsky's birth in 1940.
