I rate the video an 8 not because there's anything wrong with the picture quality, but for the file size. I encoded this myself and even with a CRF setting of 20, which is the max recommended by x264 developers for HD sources, the file size was only around a gig and a half. This means anything bigger than 1.5-1.6gig for this movie is bitrate-overkill, unnecessarily large file sizes and slower than need-be download times.
