Ray Bradbury - Tales of the Bizarre BBC Radio 4 The sixth of a series of twelve dramatised short stories by Ray Bradbury, including the author's comments. Classic science fiction. Series 1, Episode 6 'Skeleton' (Originally broadcast on Friday 12th January 1996) Harris, a hypochondriac, fears that his skeleton is a whole different being trying to take over his body. His doctor doesn't believe him so he looks for someone who does. He visits M. Munigan - a Bone Specialist who he found in the paper - who tells him that there is a delicate co-ordination between soul, flesh and skeleton. Unfortunately, Harris has an imbalance and needs his skeleton to be treated - with dire results. Dramatised by Catherine Czerkawska from Ray Bradbury's short story, first published in 1945. With Ray Bradbury [prologue and epilogue], Bob Docherty [Dr. Burley], Stuart McQuarrie [Harris], Paul Morrow [The Fat Man in the Bar], Wendy Seager [Clarisse], and Liam Brennan [M. Munigan]. The other parts were played by members of the cast.
