Supernatural: The Definitive Soundtrack (2008)



Contains music from the hit Warner Bros paranormal drama series that follows brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they travel across the country investigating and combating paranormal events and other unexplained occurrences.



RELEASE NOTES

I've noticed a few unofficial Supernatural OSTs around. The thing is, looking at the files of these downloads, the tracks are almost always sourced from different places - often having different bit-rates, being transcoded (lower quality than the actual bit-rate) and whatnot.



Since I had access to lossless rips of all these tracks, I went to the liberty of compiling *THE* unofficial Supernatural OST. This compilation contains all the most definitive tracks from Supernatural to date of this upload. All tracks where sourced from original mint CDs (remastered where available), properly tagged, ReplayGained with custom album art and encoded to -V0 LAME MP3.

(except the last track on the album, which was sourced from the original DVD's AC3 audio track)



By "definitive", I mean tracks that have been boldly featured more than once or at key moments in the series. Nearly all of this compilation consists of progressive rock.



I'll update this if any tracks leave a mark on the Supernatural series, unless Warner Bros. finally release an official soundtrack... Until then, I hope all the fans of Supernatural (or anyone who happens to download this) has a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.



Don't forget to keep this album seeded, it's not zipped, so you can listen to it whilst seeding. If you need to modify the files in order to sync it with your own library, please make a copy instead of removing it from your queue. If for any reason you encounter any problems with this release, be sure to verify the CRC checksums of the files using the enclosed *.sfv file. You can do so using QuickSFV. If any checksums don't match, simply fire up the torrent again and run a force re-check.
