Our long-awaited STEEL release – the real-time combat revamp – is now out of beta! It brings a clutch of bug fixes and a giant shipload of really stunning scenery. If you want to get the most out of Steel, we recommend starting with a new captain and a new chart. It'll look better, and there'll be more ports, so you can save more often. NB there's currently a bug that will prevent OS X users getting story updates. This is top of our fix list and we’ll release a patch for it ASAP. The Steel release comes with all the latest story updates, anyway.
