Stylus Studio 2009 XML Enterprise Suite Release 2 is our latest product release, featuring all-new XML productivity tools designed to further simplify and automate frequently encountered programming tasks, and it offers increased support for several popular databases and industry standards, easing XML data integration tasks, particularly in heterogeneous computing environments. The following are just some of the highlights of the newest release: What's New in Stylus Studio 2009 XML Enterprise Suite Release 2: Release Highlights Stylus Studio 2009 XML Enterprise Suite Release 2 contains significant new features and enhancements, including the following: XQuery Mapper — You can now create a Web service call for an XQuery application in Stylus Studio by dragging a Web service call composer file (.wscc) and dropping it on the XQuery Mapper canvas. In addition, the Choose the WSDL Operation dialog box, which appears when you double-click a Web service call glyph on the XQuery Mapper canvas, has a number of improvements aimed at increasing usability: You can now type directly in the WSDL File field instead of navigating to locate a WSDL file. The operations displayed in the Operation Name field are updated as soon as a WSDL file is specified. The operation selected in the Operation Name field when the Choose the WSDL Operation dialog box is first displayed reflects the operation that is currently defined by that Web service call in the XQuery code. EDI to XML Module Enhancements — The EDI to XML module lets you graphically build a Standard Exchange Format (SEF) file to help you convert proprietary EDI to XML, and vice versa. Several enhancements have been made to the EDI to XML module for this release: You can now undo editing operations performed in the URI field, the EDI structure pane, and the Dialect and Version combo boxes. The Rename XML Node property is now available for these nodes in the tree displayed in the EDI structure pane: Message node Segment and segment reference nodes Composite and composite reference nodes Element and element reference nodes Group_n nodes, where the tag changes for each occurrent (_n) of the group within the message NCPDP and TRADACOMS EDI Support — NCPDP and TRADACOMS have been added to the EDI dialects supported by the DataDirect XML Converters that are bundled with Stylus Studio. EDI support now encompasses ATIS, EANCOM, EDIFACT, Edig@s, HIPAA, HL7, IATA, NCPDP, TRADACOMS, and X12. File Explorer Enhancements — A new Edit Server choice on the server short-cut menu (right-click on an existing server connection to display) allows you to easily modify settings used to establish the server connection.
