Trama: A Midland, in Georgia, due minatori scoprono una strana sostanza cremosa, l'assaggiano e decidono di metterla sul mercato: questo nuovo dessert viene chiamato "The stuff" ed ha un enorme successo in tutta la nazione. Non è però innocuo quanto sembra: s'impossessa infatti del cervello di chi lo mangia e lo fa diventare uno zombie; dovranno fermarlo l'ex agente dell'FBI David, la sua ragazza Nicole, che inizialmente faceva la pubblicità del dessert, e Jason, un ragazzino che ha visto trasformata in zombie tutta la sua famiglia.
