In this long-forgotten series, based on Milton Caniff's popular comic strip, Lt. Col. Stevenson Canyon is an Air Force troubleshooter who travels all over the world on special assignments.

In this episode, when the original test pilot is injured due to a malfunction in the new zero elevation launch system for jet aircraft, Steve is determined to complete the test flight himself. (His love interest in this episode is portrayed by Marion Ross, who would later be the mom on the TV series Happy Days.)
