Hello All

I truly hope that you enjoy the long hours of work put into this, First I want to thank my friend dhjudasx probably the best encoder out there for not only some
great tips, but I put in his copies of Ark Of Truth and Continuum because why mess with perfection, he had the Blu-Ray's for those two movies and I do not. Everything
else in this collection was personally encoded by myself from DVD sources.

Before anyone complains that they will look for Blu-Ray Rips, SG-1 was never released on Blu-Ray and maybe never will be. I have done my best to bring you high quality
while maintaining reasonably small file sizes. Each Season and Movie that I have done contains all the Extras that are included in the original set not the newer yet
edited ones. I have maintained 5.1 Audio for all the files as to preserve the quality for those with surround systems, as well as including an episode list that is close
even though I have seen a few flaws from the Stargate SG-1 Wiki Page.

Now I am sure there will be critics, because there always are no matter what you put out there. However I want you to all understand I spent 3 months working on this
If you can do a better job and maintain even close to the same file sizes I will download your set and erase my own. I did this because the current copies available out
there were all pot luck and a bunch of mix & match between some recorded from disc and others recorded from TV, with no real standard set to any of them.
Additionally they didn't contain the 3 movies I have included nor the extras. That is why I have entitled this the Ultimate Stargate SG1 Fan Collection, While it doesn't
contain the Atlantis or Universe titles it has everything that led up to and ended the SG1 series. I may do the other 2 in the future, for now this has been a long project.

This collection consists of The Original Stargate Movie (Ultimate Edition) it's Featurette. dhjudasx's Versions for Ark of Truth and Continuum, 214 Episodes of SG-1 which
is every episode from all 10 seasons and every behind the scenes extra in the entire collection all encoded in H264 and Surround Audio when possible. Please keep in mind
most of the "extras" were only 2.0 on the source and therefore only come up that way.

For those of you that are asking why it's so big (91.7 GB) I want you to realize that we are talking about 295 Files and 23 Folders, 10 Seasons and 3 Movies with all the
possible extras. Considering the task at hand if you think about that you can burn the data in data format to 4 Blu-Ray Discs, that's pretty impressive for all the
amount of videos we are talking about. Additionally that is nothing on todays hard drives when you consider how cheap a 1 TB storage drive is and realize that is less
than 1/10 of that space.

All the files are MP4 Format so they will work on your computer, Ipods, Ipads, IPhones, and pretty much anything that understands this pretty universal format.
Now I know that I am going to have other encoders out there that first want to know the technical specs of the encodes.One thing to keep in mind is that the Video quality gets
better per season, not because of the encoding settings, but the actual quality of the video put on the DVD's as their budgets got better. So not everything is under my
control on that. However I am confident that you will find all of it much better than the current versions that have been available till now.

For you guys: This is the average settings for most of the files with a few exceptions obviously. But rather than take issue with any of the settings or applications I ask
you download first and judge it by it's quality remembering there are no Blu-Ray Sources for this series before complaining about it. I have sent Samples the whole time
to a friend with a 55 Inch TV that says everything looks and sounds great.

This is pretty much as good as it gets for this show! Not like some other uploaders that have bits of commercials left in from tv recordings. You can find other torrents out there that include Atlantis and Universe with SG-1 in the 80-100GB range, but many of the seasons have poor quality. This torrent has the best quality/file size ratio. Thank you uploader!

Great quality. Season 1 is out of order. If you want to make it match airdates (and thus match thetvdb, tvrage, or whatever episode scraper), you can rename the files according to below. They jump around a bit so mind the numbers:

S01E01 = S01E01-E02
S01E02 = S01E03
S01E03 = S01E04
S01E04 = S01E05
S01E05 = S01E06
S01E06 = S01E09
S01E07 = S01E07
S01E08 = S01E10

The episodes are interlaced.
If you use VLC, turn on deinterlacing.

VLC media player has deinterlacing off by default.
You can enable it for the currently playing video by using the main menus, the right-click menus or by using [[hotkey] (by default: D). It switches deinterlacing on and off (using the mode selected in the Preferences).
