The game works but the withe screen option crashes the game on start up, but if you turn off the wide screen it will run fine on Windows 7 64. I always loved this game, to bad they didn't make the episode 3 expansion.

Widescreen must works perfectly. It based on popular patch for AOE2. Maybe antivirus blocked patch functions? Or try to run Launcher as administrator and enable patch again.

It´s not the antivirus, i turned it off then i turned Off the WS patch then ON and it crashes the same way, and i always run everything as admin. i was looking forward to the wide screen option, but its a good torrent anyway.
