I had the problem with crashing to desktop after 1 or 2 maps. I fixed it with plugging my headphones, while playing. Now, no crashes, but I´m playing with my headphons....

So apparently there is something wrong with the sound configuration and there are many ways to solve it. For some people try this:
1. Control Panel --> Sound --> Recording
2. Right Click, show disabled devices
3. Activate the stereo feature if it comes up
If that didn't work (which it didn't for me) try this:
1. unplug your audio and plug it into your mic port
2. run the game
3. plug back into your other audio port (if you want sound. If not then just don't plug back in lol)
4. Now your game should work fine!
Just make sure when you initially start the game your mic port is plugged in.
