Spider-Man - The Gathering of Five and The Final Chapter Storylines (1998 Marvel)

"The Gathering of Five" and "The Final Chapter" were 1998 storylines published between all of the Spider-Man titles at the time (The Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker: Spider-Man, The Spectacular Spider-Man, and The Sensational Spider-Man).

In a quest for power Norman Osborn partakes in an arcane ritual with five mystical relics, where the people are granted either immense power or they pay the ultimate price. These relics, when brought together and the ritual performed, allow the five who posses them to be blessed or cursed with: power, knowledge, immortality, insanity and death.
