all games that are made to work with XP require more files as XP games require large amounts graphic files regardless of quality of graphics
"Which adds over 10x the amount of content to the original game."
ok I know they have the odd game here and there (like 12 games in total since 1970 - maybe 14, I don't keep up on Mac's as they aren't worth keeping up on), but really Mac's aren't gaming systems, they can barely handle a simple game like Counter-Strike (not even sure they can play the base game HL let alone a game made in 2014) which is one of the oldest MP great games around, so why don't you build a gaming PC (windows) or if you can't build one, buy one, your Mac most likely cost 3 times the cost of a gaming system, and is only a Word Processor system, I understand that if you want itunes you buy Mac, but it's a rather expensive computer that can only do about 3% of a normal (windows) PC, which I guess is why they still only have 4% of all PC's worldwide - only other reason people buy Mac's is for their great compatibility with iPhones, but no-one buys a Mac for gaming unless you want games that have graphics like a PS or xBox new Gen or old Gen

also why assume the user is HIGH - unlike my user name which does MEAN I'm high (not implying) he is only quoting the game spec's, he didn't just make those figures up, the game designers DID.....
Also the installation files has nothing to do with installed files, you can download a 1GB game but will still require more than the 1GB installation files, this is NORMAL for any game
After all Windows7Ultimate (x86 and x64) all fit on 1 DVD 4.7GB disc (both versions fit on the same disc)but after you install it's closer to 15-20GB of HD space and still it says you will need an additional 5-10GB of space after you install....
You do understand how programs work don't you
