This book is part of an unintentionally hilarious genre of tax protestor manual/conspiracy theory written by Anti-Semitic Right of Right-wing White Supremacist Libertarian Sovereign Citizen groups that refuse to acknowledge the
existence of the Federal Government. The Sovereign citizen groups have been considered Domestic Terrorists and were recently ranked as the #1 threat in America by a National Police body (detailed further in the included report).

A Brief History of the Ban

After the author, Irwin Schiff was convicted of various felonies, the judge
enjoined further sale or advertisement of the book, which is mildly dubious
from a 1st amendment standpoint, not to mention redundant. Schiff could no
longer sell the book while incarcerated because it constituted running a business
from prison.

This made it the first officially banned book in the US in God knows
how many years (excluding Demon Beast Invasion in Texas, which only
half counts because it fell under obscenity laws, it wasn't expressly banned).

Schiff then gave away the book for free to circumvent this. It is popular
among militia groups, criminals, right-wing conspiracy theorists, those
Posse Commitatus people from the recent Nevada/Feds standoff (and most
crazy rednecks in standoffs with the Federal Government more broadly)
and people with paranoid delusions (in general).
