It has been confirmed thatJim O'Rourkewill not take part in making the record. It was reported that some ofthe gear stolen in 1999 was surprisingly recovered and that it might beused for recording of the album. The album has been described byThurston Moore as "a super song record" containing "rockers andballads". The album's working title was "Sonic Life".
