I got an odd background bassy noise, which is quite annoying at first, but after some time it kind of merges into your brain waves, so you get used to it. I don't know if it's from this release, the movie or my TV. Image quality isn't great either, but it's a nice trade-off between size. The movie is fantastic, filled with nihilistic references (Natascha McElhone seems to like that). I haven't read the book, but there's a new translation directly from Polish, published by Amazon/Audible as an eBook and audio-book. It probably is here on KAT.

wtf the pitch is too high. It sounds as if Clooney has his nuts in a vice. plus the 20th Century theme was extremely high pitched. Come on dude, get it together.

A brilliant Hollywood version of a 1972 Soviet sci-fi. Considering how Hollywood tends to wreck classics I was amazed how close it was to the Russian original.
