SME30 vs Mystery Table, $30,000 deck vs $25.00 eBay special audiophile vinyl

Here is something interesting....a comparison between a multikilobuck top of the line SME30 turntable equiped with a Graham 2.2 cartridge and a $5000 or so Jan Allaerts cartridge plugged into a $15,000 custom tube phono stage.

This is compared with an old direct drive table sourced from eBay for $25, but modded. This was fitted with the $2500 Lyra Helikon SL cartrige and sent into the same tube phono stage as above.

The tracks compared are :

Stray Cat Strut-The Stray Cats
Take 5-The Dave Brubeck Quarted
The Healer-John Lee Hooker

One set of tracks are identified with an 'R' suffix...the others with a 'G' suffix.

One of them belongs to the $25 turntable while the other to the $30,000+ table.

Can you hear a difference, and do you have a preference??
