opis:

Based on a true story of 1968 Korean Republic Army plan to assassinate North Korean president Kim Il-Sung.
31 criminals and death row inmates are recruited into secret training on the island of Silmi; for two
years they are subjected to maximum mental and physical abuse before the mission is cancelled and the
unit terminated.

Jest to tak jakby koreańska "Parszywa Dwunastka".
W styczniu 1968 roku 31 żołnierzy Specjalnej Jednostki 124 z Korei Południowej miało
za zadanie dokonać infiltracji na teren Korei Północnej i zabicia prezydenta Park Chung-hee.
Cała jednostka składała się z kryminalistów, morderców i innych wyrzutków społecznych.
Dowódcą jednostki zostaje, Kim Il-sung. W Silmido przechodzą ostry trening, który ma ich
przygotować do tej samobójczej misji. Jednak w 1970 roku, kiedy stosunki pomiędzy Koreą Północną
i Południową zaczęły się polepszać, rząd nakazał zlikwidowanie jednostki i wszystkich żołnierzy.
