GAME NOTES:

What could normally be a comforting, even romantic letter, scares and

confuses james - his wife has been dead for three years. The mystery of the

letter compels him to return to the surreal horror and all-to-real danger in

Silent Hill. Set im dense fog and haunting darkness accompagnied by dramatic

music in Dolby Surround sound, Silent Hill 2 (PC) pushes the boundaries of

macabre horror. Advanced technological and original designs allow for such

features as intense visual expressions of the characters, eerie weather

conditions and dramatic gore making the game an extremely frightening.

Players face over 10 types of enemies and have access to a variety of

shooting and striking weapons, including the pistol and steel pipe found in

previous (console) editions.

- To install the game, you need to mount the BIN files with a virtual drive software, e.g. Virtual CloneDrive, etc.

- The original crack, located in CD1, is not compatible with multicore processors. Use the modified crack.

- If the game fails to run or save, run it as administrator.

- This is the European version of the game, so you should not install the silent hill 2 sound patch, since it’s only for the US version.

- For those who have a geforce card; if you encounter missing text and/or video in the game, install the geforce patch.

- The game requires CD1 to run, even with the crack applied.

- I’ve tested it on windows 8.1 64-bit without any compatibility settings and it’s been running fine so far.

- This is an old game and lacks widescreen resolutions. In order to play with the proper 4:3 aspect ratio, go to your graphics card’s settings and set the display to maintain aspect ratio.
