Got round the first issues, you need to make sure you have

openmotif installed\n

x11 installed (does not come as default in Mavericks)\n

Now I have an issues with the licence server, I get the following message\n

(ugslmd) License server system started on xxxxxx.local\n

(ugslmd) No features to serve, exiting\n

(ugslmd) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 36 Exit reason 4\n

(lmgrd) ugslmd exited with status 36 (No features to serve)\n

(lmgrd) ugslmd daemon found no features. Please correct\n

(lmgrd) license file and re-start daemons.\n

(lmgrd) \n

(lmgrd) This may be due to the fact that you are using\n

(lmgrd) a different license file from the one you expect.\n

(lmgrd) Check to make sure that:\n

(lmgrd) /Applications/Siemens/PLMLicenseServer/splm6.lic \n

(lmgrd) is the license file you want to use.\n

Also get a licence error message when starting NX9

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'm happy to try to help you out if I can. However, I need more info/specifics from you. Did you read the Readme(s) (text files)? If so, and assuming you followed the instructions, at which point during the installation process did your problem arise?

NX initialization error occurs. It displays "NX requires a server_id feature in the license file" Can anybody resolve this issue?
