While listening again to the transfer of Quartet No. 9, I've noticed several small bits of noise which went unnoticed when the transfer was proofed before uploading it - especially one coming at about 7:58 of the fifth moment ... at exactly a point in the quartet where the mad frenzy taking place in the music is enough to cause anyone to not notice anything except the mad frenzy of the music. Over seven (7) versions of this transfer were made, but this bit of noise does not occur on the LP - nor in any of the other versions of the transfer - except the one that got uploaded ... meaning that it is a malfunction of the recorder (something that rarely happens - but when it does, it's always when one least expects it). In the end, though, it's a really great performance of an absolutely amazing piece - and worth every effort (or version) one can manage. So, here is a new version for anyone who is as picky about such things as I can be (completely inconsequential as they may well appear to some).
