Shepherd, Mike - Kris Longknife 1 - 9

"Mike Shepherd" is a pseudonym for Mike Moscoe. Moscoe, a former civil servant, lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife Ellen and now writes full-time.

Mike Shepherd's third series is about a rich young naval officer who struggles to deal with the expectation and reputations (both good and bad) of a famous family of military leaders, politicians, and billionaires. The first Kris Longknife book, Mutineer, was published in 2004 under the name Mike Shepherd. (Shepherd is his mother's maiden name.) This proved to be far more successful than his previous efforts, and the eighth book in the series was released in October 2010.
