More Than I Can Take (2:18) NOTE: Returning to a more poppy sound for "The Girl who Cried Wolf", Shelley's presenting 11 tracks which are all produced in an exquisite way. It took a little time for Harland to come up with her fifth studio album, five to be exact, but the result is something she should be more than happy with. It's a special album, partly because Shelley's hardcore fans have partly financed the album, but there's more to it. In the current climate of massive sing along songs, comes this incredibly talented singer, who's deciding to take a step back and bring everything back to the essence; a beautiful voice, singing beautifully crafted songs with meaningful lyrics and a top notch production. Her motto "I dare you to try different things this year", following her lead single "New Things" is definitely a piece of advice, Shelley's been following. Shelley's gone where's she's never gone before. "He", is one of the most perfect ballads ever written and sure to blow you of your socks. Not to mention the tracks "Unbearable" could be Shelley's defining Ray of Light moment. Expect strings, violins, mid tempo beats and and a gorgeous voice, from a singer songwriter, and producer, who deserves more than anyone, the name and fame of some of the biggest global stars. The Girl Who Cried Wolf, will certainly attract a whole new audience for the singer and contribute to her continuous raise to being a star. Sharing Widget |
