You're probably using an external player. As it says in description, it won't work on them.
If on PC, use latest vlc for easy way, or mpchc+LAV.

I was using LAV decoders like stated in the description.

I can only assume they're not in use or something. Because it works perfectly fine here, with lav splitter or haali splitter.
Just use latest vlc then, that will work easier.
