Sega Model 2 Arcade Emulator by Nebula allows you to play arcade greats by Sega on the PC.

Thought I would include some tips on how to play these games you way you remember them!

This tip applies to all old games and emulators



When you play a emulated game on your PC or Laptop do you feel that the graphics are worse

than your remember? If you look closely the problem is your computer displays pixels, and

low resolution games being displayed on a pixel screen makes them look blocky.



Back in the day this wasn't a concern for developers. The developers used this to their

advantage as the TV format would take a tiny low resolution image and amplifies this

image blurring the pixels together creating a smoother image. This is how they were able

to get 320x200 resolution games to look so good. If they where shown on a monitor, they

would look rubbish.



Right, put this to the test and see for yourself, drop the resolution of the game you want

to play to 640x480, this gives the best performance. Plug your computer into an

old TV (crt style) via a svga cable (not vga, vga would be rubbish) and play the game.



You will see that it look perfect as you remember it

About This Set

I have had to add files to zip files I got from the net as they where missing

and would not work on Nebula v0.9



Can't remember them all now but Daytona and Virtua Fighter 2 are to name

a few.



If you have downloaded my torrent with the patched game pack listed below, the games will

work anyway.



If you have ROMs that don't work with Nebula take note of the error message you get.

It should tell you which files are missing.



Below are the names of the most common missing files and they are in my patchfiles.zip if you

need them.

You may also find other files that are required. Further down the list is the contents contained

in all my patched working files. From this you should be able to find the missing ROMs you

need (the files you need may be in another game you have!). Good Luck.....
