I heard something on "the metal show" that the 3D on this dvd was used with a uniqe´technology that you should be able to watch on a regular 2d tc,monitor with no glasses needed etc.

Is this true? Sounds odd,but knowing how captalismen works it buying patents for new technology that would be a disaster for the new generation of hi fi hardware that's "3D ready".
