Executive Producer Mark Burnett joins forces with Seth Jarrett and Julie Insogna, creators of the hit series
Celebrity Ghost Stories, to take viewers on a spooky thrill ride through some of the most infamously haunted
colleges and high schools nationwide. Students, alumni, and faculty share their intimate paranormal encounters
while their experiences are brought to life in Jarrett's arresting style of storytelling.

Every campus has its secrets...


Mark Burnett, Jarrett Creative and the Syfy cable TV network are seeking high school and college students as well
as alumni who have come face to face with paranormal activity on their school campuses. If you have had a first-hand
experience with ghosts, hauntings or other unexplained phenomena in your classrooms... In your dorm... In locker rooms
or on athletic fields... We may want to tell your story and recreate it on television. Faculty and parents are also
encouraged to share their stories with us.

The project will tell true ghost stories of hauntings that have happened at schools across the country. The stories
will be told in first person narratives through the testimonials of real students, teachers, parents and staff that
have encountered the paranormal activity, blended with bone-chilling cinematic reenactments to further bring the
haunting experiences to life.

S01E01 - Sorority House Terror
Air-date: Wednesday June 20th, 2012

In 2006, a group of sorority sisters at the University of Michigan took possession of a new home – a huge old house
located just off the university campus. Although the house is creepy and in poor repair, the sisters are excited to
have a place to call their own. Almost immediately, however – things begin to go wrong in the house. Bats and pests
appear everywhere. Healthy girls fall mysteriously ill. Then, more disturbingly, the personalities of the sisters
begin to change. Fights and hostilities erupt suddenly and without cause – as if something evil has been awakened
in each of them.

Then the sightings begin............

Junior Caroline Rankin is giving her mother a tour of the basement when both of them are scared out of their wits by
a vision of an emaciated young man. Junior Kristen Mazorek is literally chased up the basement stairs by invisible
heavy footsteps. And in the darkness of an upstairs hall – both Caroline and Kristen catch glimpses of a male figure,
lurking in the shadows. His face is hidden, but his clothing is evidently from a different time.

The girls do not share their experiences with each other, fearing they will be thought insane. They remain unaware
that others are experiencing similar things. Meanwhile the fighting and tensions continue to worsen in the house.
Senior Nicole Sands tries to hold the fraying sorority together by organizing a Haunted House fundraiser. The event
goes off without a hitch, but in its wake, the real-life hauntings escalate. Caroline Rankin sees a bedroom suddenly
erupt into flames – and within it, an unknown girl, being burned alive! Moments later the flames and the girl simply
vanish, leaving Caroline shaken to the core. Soon afterwards, Nicole Sands is hurled out of bed and clear across the
room by a massive invisible force. She looks up to see the ghostly figure of a man hovering above her bed. In his
eyes, she sees a warning – then runs downstairs in the middle of the night to find the stove ablaze, and the house
about to go up in flames.

Finally, Caroline is visited by a terrifying, inhuman vision: a pulsating ball of energy that pushes into her bedroom
and looms above her, threatening to consume her. Under the mounting pressure of these experiences, the three girls
finally crack, and share with each other what they have been enduring. When they compare notes, they are astonished to
realize they have all been seeing the same ghostly man. They also share a sense that, while an evil, negative energy
pervades the house, it somehow does not emanate from the man.

Digging deeper, they research the history of the house and are startled to learn how its past events are reflections of
the present. The house's original owner fought a desperate battle with tuberculosis while living there. The girls realize
that both his physical illness and emotional despair have been literally mirrored in them. They also uncover the real
tragedy of the owners final days. Forced to leave the home for convalescence, he died apart from his four sorority-aged
daughters. He never had the chance to say farewell. After death, this young father has returned, eternally in search of
them.
