guys remember to save your profile folder in the game directory somewhere else to repaste back in after applying patch and crack that way you dont loose your savegames :)

you should have just gone into the game directory copy and pasted your profile folder somewhere else, Installed the patch and crack then repasted your profile file back in. worked perfectly for me :)
