Synopis:

Jennifer Jones offers a virtual reprise of her sultry performance in Duel in the Sun as the titular heroine of Ruby Gentry. Sinopse Pt Br:

Nascida em uma pobre família branca sulista, Rubi (Jennifer Jones) pretende melhorar de vida se casando com alguém rico. O namorado dela, Boake Tackman (Charlton Heston), considera Rubi imprópria para o casamento, mas Jim Gentry (Karl Malden), um próspero negociante, está ansioso e faz dela sua esposa.
