Description
Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In
Episode Number: 32 Season Num: 2 First Aired: February 3, 1969 The show started with several short bits, and after the intros, the first joke wall segment. Following was the opening monologue, in which Dick told about the death of his cousin Little Leo, who was 14 inches high. There was no party, however, it supposedly was canceled and Dan could not open the door. Next was Gladys and Tyrone, and Judy interviewing a modern day Johnny Appleseed(Dave). Then the Discovery Of The Week, Carol Worthington, more short bits, and the news. Don and the girls did the news theme as circus performers. Then more short bits and Cliff Robertson speaking out against violence on TV; unfortunately it made him so mad he smashed the desk he was standing behind. Then Dick got the door open and the party went on. Then Dick talked about his new Nehru jacket and his fast. Following was the Question Of The Week, the Flying Fickle Finger Of Fate Award, and more short bits. Then Dick gave a phone message to Dan and Mod Mod World, which had no real theme. Then Goldie and Henry sang a song they wrote, which had a lot of the show's catchphrases. Next was Sock It To Me Time, in which Don took all of it instead of Judy, followed by Potpourri, which included Gladys and Tyrone, with Don dressed like Gladys also. Finally, Judy at the switchboard, more short bits, the good nights, the second joke wall and the last short bits. Cast: J. J.
