Rookie blue is een Canadese politie serie die wordt uitgezonden door ABC. De serie ging in première op 24 juni 2010.

Rookie Blue gaat over het leven van 5 politie agenten die net klaar zijn met de opleidingen.
De vijf jonge politie-agenten staan aan het begin van hun carrière en beginnen hier vol overgave aan.
De agenten die langer in het vak zitten, hebben niet altijd even veel geduld met de beginnelingen.
Rechercheur Luke Callaghan is hierop de positieve uitzondering.
Maar dit komt omdat hij een oogje heeft op één van de groentjes.
