If anyone is seeing that a disk is needed, this is what I did to resolve the problem:

1) Extract the whole rar folder to Desktop.
2) Run Setup.exe
3) If you created a desktop shortcut, click to open game (or Autorun.exe in the folder)
4) When it asks for a CD, change the path in the box to where you extracted the folder (Desktop). For example, mine is saying "Insert disk into the following drive" and listing a path to my AppData folder, I changed that path to "C:UserMeDesktopRollercoaster Tycoon 2".
5) Should work fine!

just having a issue to save games. it just dont save. any help?
