Robert K. Merton is regraded second only influential american sociologist to Tacott Parsons. He is considered as the founder of sociology of science. His contribution to functionalism make this theory even more updated and usable. His new concepts such as role model and self-fulfill prophecy become everyday language. In this collection, we present many influential articles and works by Robert K. Merton that endeavor to gather. Other missing important works such as mass persuasion, on the shoulder of giant, sociology of science and social theory and social structure (original) is absent in this collection because I cannot find.
